[:ja]リッキー・アーノルド宇宙飛行士がISSから撮影した南北アメリカ縦断の動画です。北米サンフランシスコ付近から始まり、サンホアキンバレー、ロサンゼルスを通過、メキシコを見下ろしながら南米大陸に行きます。アンデス山脈を見ながらエクアドル、ペルー、チリ、アルゼンチンを越え、雪に覆われたパタゴニアに到達。南半球は今は冬ですね。最後になんと南極半島が遠くに微かに見えます。

Astronaut Ricky Arnold captured from ISS stunning video of longitudinal travel over Americas. Starting from San Francisco, San Juaquin Valley, Los Angeles, passing over Mexico, overlooking the Andes Mountains, white Uyuni Salt Lake (not snow white!), Ecuador, Peru, Chile and Argentina reaching snow covered Patagonia. Southern hemisphere is in winter now. At the end, Antarctic Peninsula can be seen at the end in distance. Amazing travel.
