[:ja]NASAの地球観測衛星Terraが撮影したハリケーン・エタによるニカラグアの洪水の被害の様子です。
大型ハリケーン「エタ」は、2020年11月3日、5段階のうち2番目に強いカテゴリー4の勢力でニカラグアに上陸、その後熱帯低気圧に変わりましたが、各地で大きな被害をもたらしました。その後、エタは中米を通過、6日までにグアテマラなど各国で土砂崩れを引き起こし、100人以上が死亡したとみられます。

NASA’s Terra satellite captured the floods caused by the landfall of the Hurricane Eta in Nicaragua.
On Nov. 3, 2020, Tropical Storm Eta made a landfall in Nicaragua and subsequently crashed into Central America, making it one of the most powerful storms to hit the region in years. The storm had weakened from the Category 4 hurricane that battered the coast, but the heavy rain caused flooding and triggered landslides that killed more than 100 people across 3 countries, including Guatemala and Honduras.
