[:ja]NASAの地球観測衛星Terraが捉えた太陽光の海面反射「サングリント（sunglint）」です。光の筋が米西海岸から太平洋に広がっています。

これは太陽光が穏やかな海面で反射した時に形成される現象で、太陽光が水面に対しほぼ鉛直に反射する鏡面反射が起こっています。

Sunglint is a phenomenon that occurs when sunlight reflects off the surface of the ocean at the same angle that a satellite or other sensor is viewing the surface.
