クスコ（Cusco, Qusqu）は、ペルーの南東クスコ県の県都で、アンデス山脈中の標高3,400mに存在する人口約30万人の都市です。クスコとは、ケチュア語 (Quechua) で「へそ」を意味し、インカ帝国の首都で、文化の中心でした。クスコの市街は、1983年、世界遺産（文化遺産）に登録されました。

Cusco (Cuzco, Qusqu) is a city in southeastern Peru near the Urubamba Valley of the Andes mountain range at around 3,400m altitude. It is the capital of the Cusco Region and of the Cusco Province. The city is the 7th most populous in Peru and has about 430,000 population. The city was the capital of the Inca Empire from the 13th century until the 16th-century Spanish conquest. In 1983, Cusco was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO with the title “City of Cuzco”. It has become a major tourist destination, hosting nearly 2 million visitors a year. The Constitution of Peru (1993) designates it as the Historical Capital of Peru.
