[:ja]地球観測衛星Landsat 8が撮影した東京です。東京オリンピックでは連日熱い競技が繰り広げられていますが、東京の暑さが競技の進行に支障をきたしているという議論も出ています。地球温暖化に加え、極端な都市化が進んだ東京では連日34度を超える暑さが続いています。

[Earthview Wonders] No.1342: Heating Up in Tokyo🇯🇵

Landsat 8 satellite captured Tokyo, Japan. A series of hot, fierce competitions are taking place in Tokyo Olympics everyday, but competitors are also claiming hot and humid summer climate is affecting the progress of competitions outside. After decades of global warming, increases in the frequency of heat waves, and extensive urbanization, summers in Tokyo are as uncomfortable as ever.
