[:ja]トマ・ペスケ宇宙飛行士がISSから撮影した船外活動時の海のビューです。海は地表の70.8%を占め、陸地の約2.4倍です。IPCC第5次評価報告書第1作業部会報告書（2013）によると、1901年から2010年の期間に、世界平均海面水位は0.19m上昇し、21世紀末（2081～2100年）には、1986~2005年の平均海面水位に対して、最悪シナリオで0.45~0.82m上昇すると予測されています。

[Earthview Wonders] No.1344: Big Sea View

Astronaut Thomas Pesquet captured from ISS “big sea view” during EVA(Extravehicular Activity). The sea covers over 70.8% of the Earth’s surface and it moderates the Earth’s climate and has important roles in the water cycle, carbon cycle, and nitrogen cycle. IPCC Fifth Assessment Report states the the average sea level increased by 0.19m during 1901-2010 and it is expected to continue to rise by 0.45-0.82m compared to the average of 1986-2005 by the end of 21st century in the worst case.
