2021年8月24日、東京パラリンピックが開幕しました。新型コロナウイルスの影響から、五輪に続く形で無観客開催となった今回の開会式は、会場の国際競技場を「パラ・エアポート」という空港に見立てた演出で、「We Have Wings（私たちには翼がある）」というコンセプトのもと、さまざまなパフォーマンスが行なわれました。9月5日までの12日間にかけて行なわれるパラリンピックで、全てのアスリートが最高のパフォーマンスを出せるよう祈念します。

Tokyo Paralympics Opening Ceremony took place on Aug. 24, 2021. The parade of nations was led by members of the refugee team, and the absent Afghan athletes were represented by a volunteer flag bearer. Good luck to all the athletes!
