[:ja]トーマス・マッシュバーン宇宙飛行士がISSから撮影したアンドラ公国です。スペインから雲の下のフランスのマルセイユまで写っています。
アンドラはフランスとスペインに挟まれたピレネー山中にある小国家で、803年、フランク王国のシャルルマーニュが東部ピレネー山脈中においたスペイン辺境領ウルヘル伯領を起源とし、現在でもフランス大統領とスペインのウルヘル司教を国家元首としています。画像からもわかりますが、国土の大半が山地で、夏季は乾燥し、冬季の降雪が多い地中海性気候です。人口約8万人、公用語はカタルーニャ語（ラテン語から変化したロマンス語の一つで、南フランスの地方言語オクシタン語に近い）、主要産業は観光です。

Astronaut Thomas Mashburn captured from ISS Andorra or the Principality of Andorra. Spain and Marseille, France, are captured in the image as well.
Andorra is a microstatein the eastern Pyrenees Mountains and bordered by France and Spain. Its origin goes back to the Frank Kingdom’s Counts of Urgell, and today is a monarchy headed by two Co-Princes – the Roman Catholic Bishop of Urgell in Spain, and the President of France. As can be recognized from the image, the country consists predominantly of rugged mountains. The country has Mediterranean climate with more snow in winter and lower humidity in summer. Andorra has approximately 80,000 population, Catalan (a kind of Romance language and is similar to Occitan) as the official language, and tourism as main industry.
