地上の人間からすると宇宙船から地球を見降ろしているイメージがありますが、実際は、山崎宇宙飛行士が「驚いたのは、地球が真上に輝いていたこと。400kmのぼってきたわけで、下にあることを想像していたのですけど、宇宙空間には上も下もないんだってあらためて気づいたんです」とコメントしているように、実際はキューポラから見上げる感じのようです。
