ホルムズ海峡はペルシア湾沿岸諸国で産出する石油の重要な搬出路であり、毎日1700万バレルの石油をタンカーが運びます。地上の様子はこちらです。

Astronaut Thomas Pesquet captured the dusk of the Hormuz Strait off the coast of Oman. The satellite image is the exclave of Oman to the south of which United Arab Emirates (UAE) lies. The strait has 75-100m depth and 54km width at its narrowest.
The Hormuz Strait is one of the wolrd’s most strategically important sea passage the important sea passage and tankers carry 17 million barrels of crude oil per day. The image of the strait on the ground is as follows.
