イギリスのエリザベス女王の国葬が2022年9月19日、首都ロンドン中心部のウェストミンスター寺院で行われ、各国の要人など2000人以上が参列しました。国葬は、9月19日午後8時15分頃に終わりました。その後、女王の棺はウェストミンスター寺院からロンドン郊外のウィンザー城へ移されました。同城内の聖ジョージ礼拝堂での埋葬式の後、近親者のみの礼拝を経て、同礼拝堂内にある国王ジョージ6世記念礼拝堂に納められます。エリザベス女王はイギリスの君主として歴代最長となる70年にわたって在位し、2022年9月8日、96歳で亡くなりました。国際社会からは女王の功績をたたえ、追悼する声が相次いでいます。心よりご冥福をお祈りいたします。

Queen Elizabeth II received a state funeral at London’s Westminster Abbey on September 20, 2022, which was one of the largest diplomatic occasions of the century. World leaders, politicians, public figures and European royals, as well as more than 500 dignitaries from around the world, descended on London to pay their last respects to Britain’s longest reigning monarch, who died on September 8 at the age of 96. Queen Elizabeth II has passed away on Sept. 8, 2022, after reigning for 70 years. People worldwide has paid tribute to Her Majesty, for the tremendous loss to the international community.
