[:ja]NASAの観測衛星Suomi NPPが撮影した、1997年にユネスコ世界遺産に登録された、インド洋・オーストラリア領のハード島🇭🇲と、周辺の雲と海洋の動きです。北西にはフランス領南方・南極地域🇹🇫のケルゲレン諸島も見えています。
ハード島は地球上でもっとも陸地から離れた場所で、最も近い陸地は1,630km南方の南極大陸です。荒涼として起伏が多く、小さい島ながら2,745メートルのモーソン・ピークがあります。
また、島には経済活動が皆無ながら、国コード（ISO 3166-1 HM / HMD）が与えられ、インターネットのトップレベルドメイン .hm が与えられています。

Heard Island is the most remote place on Earth with the closest land is Antarctica, 1,630km to the south. The island has barren, undulating landscape with the highest Mawson Peak of 2,745m.
Surprisingly, despite lack of economic activity, the island has been assigned the country code (ISO 3166-1 HM / HMD) and the Internet top-level domain .hm.
