[Earthview Wonders] No.215: Prague of Czech🇨🇿
Astronaut Thomas Pesquet captured from ISS Czech Republic’s capital, Prague (Praha). Prague is home to 1.2 million people and is the largest city in the country. As can be seen from the satellite image, Vltava River (Moldau in German) flows through the city.

Prague suffered considerably less damage during World War I and II than other major cities, allowing most of its historic architecture to stay true to form. It contains one of the world’s most pristine and varied collections of architecture from Romanesque to modern, and Historic Centre of Prague is registered as UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The local scenery on the ground of Prague is as follows.
