オーストラリアの氷河研究者によると、南極の春に氷床が後退し太陽光が水面に当たることで、植物性プランクトンである微細藻類が増加し、海水が緑色になります。

NASA’s Landsat 8 captured green sea water off the coast of Granite Harbor, Antarctica.
According to an Australian marine glaciologist, in the austral spring when the edge of the sea ice recedes and there is ample sunlight, phytoplankton or microalgae flourishes in the waters and turns the water green.
