Naples has approximately 980,000 population and is the third largest city in Italy, following Rome and Milan. With Vasuvius Volcano, Roman ruins of Pompei, Capri Island and more, the city is one of the most globally-known destinations. The city has a long history, and Bronze Age Greek settlements were established in the area in the second millennium BC. As is frequently said, “See Naples and die! (vedi Napoli e poi muori)”.
