[:ja]今週の宇宙からの地球絶景は、数々の歴史上の伝説を生んできたエーゲ海から。上方に見えている突き出た砂漠地帯は、世界遺産にも登録されているリビア領内の古代ギリシャ都市「キュレネ」があった辺りです。遺跡の多くは、ローマ帝国の植民都市となった際にローマ都市として再建されました。

This week starts out with the Aegean Sea where a number of myths and legends were passed down. The desert area seen at the top is where Cyrenthe, the largest ancient Greek city in Libya located and is registered as UNESCO’s World Heritage. Many of the ruins were subsequently rebuilt as Roman Empire cities.
