[:ja]ESAの地球観測衛星Sentinel-2Aが撮影したバヌアツのアンブリム島です。
バヌアツは800kmにわたって北北西から南南東に連なる83の島からなり、それらは火山諸島であるニューヘブリディーズ諸島と呼ばれます。そのうち、住民が居住する島は約70です。アンブリムは大型の玄武岩質火山で、12kmの開口部のカルデラを持ち、ニューヘブリディーズ諸島の中でも最も活発です。

Vanuatu is a Pacific island nation located in the South Pacific Ocean. The archipelago, which is of volcanic origin, is some 1,750 kilometres east of northern Australia.
