[:ja]NASAの地球観測衛星Landsat 8が撮影した中国黒竜江省の朝鮮人参畑です。直射日光を遮る青色や黄色のカバーがかけられています。
朝鮮（高麗）人参は薬用または食用に用いられ、特に漢方薬として有名で、韓国が良質のものと思われていますが、大半は中国で栽培されています。栽培するのが困難で、約4~8年の時間をかけて一度栽培するとその後同じ期間は栽培することができないとされています。

Ginseng one of the species of slow-growing perennial plants with fleshy roots that are believed to have strong medical effects and have been used in Chinese traditional medicine over centuries.
