[:ja]パオロ・ネスポリがISSから撮影したイタリアで3番目に広いコモ湖です。
湖の北東側、ヴァルテッリーナ渓谷を流れてきたアッダ川からの流れを主にして、逆Y字形の形状を持っています。コモ湖には、ローマ帝国の皇帝やユリウス・カエサルが保養のために訪れたと言われています。

Astronaut Paolo Nespoli captured from ISS Italy’s third-largest Lake Como.
Lake Como is a lake of glacial origin in Lombardy, and is fed primarily by the Adda River. Inverted letter “Y” shaped lake has been a popular retreat for aristocrats and wealthy people since Roman times. Even Julius Caesar is said to have visited the lake.
