成都は亜熱帯気候に属し、湿度が高く日照も少なく、一年を通して曇りの日が多い都市です。豊かな成都平原の中にあって古くから「天府の国」と呼ばれてきました。画像の龍門山脈は、四川省北部の主要な山脈の一つで景勝地としても著名な山です。四川盆地の北西の縁に沿って聳え立ち、北東から南西の方向に伸びています。

Chengdu is the capital of China’s Sichuan province and the 5th-most populous agglomeration in China, with 10 million inhabitants in the built-up area. The Longmen Mountains (Longmenshan Mountains) lie in the north of Chengdu. The range runs in a roughly northeast to southwest direction to the western part of the Chengdu Prefecture.
