パパモアビーチは北島で急速に発展している都市タウランガの近郊にあり、16kmにわたり白砂が広がるビーチです。西には232mのマンガヌイ山がそびえ、そこから東のカイトゥナ川まで続きます。

Papamoa Beach has 16km of white sandy beach stretching from the boundary with Mount Maunganui in the west to the Kaituna River in the east. Papamoa Beach is currently one of the fastest growing suburbs of Tauranga. Papamoa Beach is renowned as a popular fishing, surfing, and holiday retreat.
