バーレーン王国は、ペルシア湾のバーレーン島を主島として大小33の島から成り、首都はマナーマです。画像からも見えますが、隣国サウジアラビアとは橋で結ばれているため、経済的な結びつきが強いです。中東で最も早く石油採掘を行った国で、GDPの約30%は石油関連事業によるものであり、その恩恵で国民には所得税が皆無です。

Bahrain is an island country consisting of a small archipelago centered around Bahrain Island in the Persian Gulf. With its highly developed communication and transport facilities, Bahrain is home to a number of multinational firms and construction proceeds on several major industrial projects. A large share of exports consist of petroleum products made from imported crude oil, which accounted for half of the country’s imports.
