画像中では真ん中に最も明るい地球が、その右隣に月が写っています。これは、エンジニアリングテストとしてOSIRIS-REx機搭載のグレースケールカメラNavCam1で撮影。撮影時の速度は8.5km/sです。

This week starts out with the incredible Earth-Moon system captured by OSIRIS-REx, the sample-return spacecraft heading for an asteroid Bennu.
Earth is the brightest spot with the smaller, dimmer Moon appearing to the right. As part of an engineering test, NASA’s OSIRIS-REx spacecraft captured this using a gray scale NavCam1 imager from 63.6 million km away. At the photoshooting OSIRIS-reX was moving away from home at a speed of 8.5 km/s.
