[:ja]今週最初の投稿はMars Cube Oneから見た地球です。5月6日に打ち上げられたNASAの火星探査機Mars Cube One (MarCO)が100万kmの距離から撮影した地球と月です。1990年にボイジャー1号が木星付近から地球を撮影したペール・ブルー・ドットはあまりにも有名ですが、Mars Cube Oneにより同様の画像が撮影されました。

[Earthview Wonders] No.509: Earth from Mars Cube One

This week starts with Earth captured by Mars Cube One. This is the Earth-Moon system captured by a pair of CubeSats called Mars Cube One (MarCO) at 1 million km from Earth. “Pale Blue Dot”, a classic portrait of Earth taken by Voyager 1 from the vicinity of Jupiter, is so famous and now a class of tiny, boxy spacecraft, CubeSats, have taken their own photo.
