雲が形成されるには、空気中にある海水のしぶきからできた塩の小さな粒や火山の噴煙、工場からの煤煙などの雲のタネ(核）が必要です。これに水蒸気が付着し、次第に大きくなって水の粒となり雲が出来るのですが、この場所もなんらかの理由で雲が形成されたはずです。
