米カリフォルニア州の山火事で、州北部のビュート郡の死者が少なくとも77人に増えたと報道されています。ロサンゼルス郊外の別の山火事でも3人の死亡が確認されており、州全体の犠牲者は80人にのぼります。ビュート郡では1200人以上の安否が不明とされ、犠牲者がさらに増えるおそれがあります。

The death toll from the Camp Fire in Northern California increased to 77, while the number of people unaccounted for has decreased to 993 people. In Southern California, just outside Los Angeles, the Woolsey Fire killed 3 people. Dense smoke from the fires has been smothering parts of the state with what has been described as “the dirtiest air in the world.”
