[:ja]アレックス・ゲルスト宇宙飛行士がISSから撮影したニュージーランド南島のテカポ湖です。

テカポ湖はマッケンジー盆地の北端に位置しプカキ湖とオハウ湖と平行する湖です。湖水は氷河が削った岩石の粉が溶け込んでいるために青緑色をしています。湖周辺は人気の高い観光保養地であり、世界一の星空の町として知られています。

Astronaut Alex Gerst captured from ISS Lake Tekapo, New Zealand.

Lake Tekapo is the second-largest of three roughly parallel lakes running north–south along the northern edge of the Mackenzie Basin in the South Island of New Zealand. The lake is a popular tourist destination, and is known as “the world’s best star-gazing place.”
