[:ja]NASAの地球観測衛星Landsat 8が撮影した南米ブラジル南東部ブルマジーニョで決壊した鉄鉱石の鉱山用のダムです。
2019年1月25日にブラジルで発生した今回の鉱山ダム決壊事故では死者は110人を数え、行方不明者は238人となっています。有害物質を含んだ汚泥が下流に流れ込み、環境汚染も深刻な状況です。鉱山の町であるブルマジーニョは泥土や残骸でほぼ埋もれる悲惨な状況になっています。

NASA’s Landsat 8 satellite captured the mining dam collapse at the Córrego do Feijão mine, Brazil.
On January 25, 2019, a retaining wall collapsed and a pond of mud-like waste material flooded through and nearby town of the Córrego do Feijão mine, Brumahinho, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Tailings rushed through the mine, the nearby town of Brumadinho, and the Paraopeba River, a key source of drinking and irrigation water for people in the area. More than 100 people have died and hundreds of people are missing, according to multiple news reports.
