[Earthview Wonders] No.699: Backside of Moon and Earth

For the first time, China’s DSLWP-B (Longjiang-2) lunar satellite photographed the entirety of the Moon’s backside and the Earth in a single shot. This small probe was launched with China’s Queqiao communication satellite for Chang’e-4 lunar lander. Queqiao is located in a stable position near the Moon, where it relays radio signals from Longjiang-2 and the Chang’e-4 lander to Earth.
