[:ja]欧州宇宙機関ESAの地球観測衛星Sentinel-2が撮影した、中国・チベット自治区の雪崩です。今年の7月17日に、アル山脈の氷河で過去最大級の雪崩があり、氷雪が10平方kmに広がり、9人の人命と350匹の羊が失われました。
よく見ると、この雪崩はアル湖まで達しています。また、降雨などが流れた扇状地も明確に見えています。

ESA’s earth observatory satellite Sentinel-2 captured massive avalanche in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China. Avalanche that spread over 10km^2 on July 17 is considered one of the largest ever, killing 9 people and 250 sheep.
The avalanche reached the Aru Lake. Also alluvial fan on the right side of the range can clearly be seen from space.
