フロリダ・キーズは、米国フロリダ州にある隆起珊瑚礁でできた細長い列島で、フロリダ半島南端部の沖に北東から南西方向に延長は約290km延びています。フロリダキーズの最南端の島のキーウェストは米国最南端でもあり、フロリダ海峡を隔てて向かい合うキューバまで171kmです。

The Florida Keys are a coral cay archipelago located off the southern coast of Florida, U.S. They begin at the southeastern coast of the Florida peninsula, about 24km south of Miami, and extend in a gentle arc south-southwest and then westward to Key West, the southernmost city of the country. From the Key West, Cuba is only 171km away.
