ちなみに地上で見ると白い砂丘が続く美しい景色が続きます。砂丘の砂は石英で、太陽光に反射して白く見えるのです。1~6月の雨季には、雨によって地下水の水位が上昇するため、無数の湖が出現し、なんと魚も現れるようです。
同じものをマクロとミクロの視点で見ると興味深いですね。

The scenery on the ground is beautiful with large, white, sweeping dunes made of silica which reflects sunlight and looks white. During the rainy season from January to June, fresh water collects and creates “lagoons” and even tiger fish in the valleys.
