[:ja]国際宇宙ステーションISSから撮影したタイ沖、タイランド湾およびアンダマン海のイカ釣り漁です。
イカの活性は夜ですので、漁師たちは緑のライトを使ってプランクトンや魚を集め、それらを餌とするイカを釣ります。タイのバンコクの光はとても明るく、東側に見える経済規模が小さいカンボジアの首都プノンペンとの差がよくわかります。

Astronauts onboard ISS captured the night squid fishing in the Andaman Sea and Gulf of Thailand.
Fishermen use green lights to attract plankton and fish, the preferred diet of squid which is active at night. Also, the lights of large Bangkok is bright which those of Phnoom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, are smaller.
