[:ja]バレンタインデーということで、ハート形の画像をお送りします。トマ・ペスケ宇宙飛行士が2017年のプロキシマ・ミッション中にISSから撮影したモンゴル北西のアチット湖です。
アチット湖は同国北西部の淡水湖です。標高1,435mの高地にあり、長さ28km、幅16kmで290km2の面積を有します。深さは10m程度と深くありません。湖の周辺はステップが広がっています。

Today is Valentine’s Day and enjoy heart-shaped Achit Lake, Mongolia, which Astronaut Thomas Pesquet captured from ISS.
Pesquet posted this image during his Proxima mission in 2017. Achit Lake is the largest freshwater lake in the Uvs Aimag Province of Mongolia, in the west of the country. At an elevation of 1,435m above sea level it covers an area of 290 km². It is 28km long, 16km wide, and 10 m deep. The coast is covered with steppes, mostly hilly but swampy on the northwest and northeast.
