画像中の地球にはオーストラリア大陸が見えています。イスラエルの民間団体Space ILによって開発されたベレシートは、成功すれば、民間探査機として初めて、そしてロシア、アメリカ、中国に続く4カ国目の月面探査ミッションとなります。4月11日に月面に着陸予定です。

Israel’s first lunar lander Beresheet has captured its first in-space selfie with the Earth on the back from a distance of 37,600km.
In the photo of Earth, Australia is clearly visible. Congratulations to Israel for this achievement. ‘Am Yisrael Chai’ and ‘Small Country, Big Dreams.’ Beresheet will be captured into lunar orbit on April 4, then drop softly onto the moon’s surface on April 11.
