NASA GISS(ゴダード宇宙科学研究所)の発表によると、2016年上半期の地球の平均気温は、記録のある1880年の観測開始以来最も高くなり、19世紀後半から1.3度上昇していると判明しました。

NASA’s polar ice monitoring project Operation IceBridge captured this melt pond in the Arctic Chukchi Sea.

According to NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS), first 6 months of 2016 marked the warmest record since 1880, with average temperature 1.3C warmer than the late 19th century.

Further, sea ice at the peak of summer covers 40% less area than it did in the late 1970s. This is the animation and explanation given by NASA scientists.
