[:ja]トマ・ペスケ宇宙飛行士がISSから撮影したトルコの森林火災です。
2021年7月28日に、トルコ南部のリゾート地アンタルヤで山火事が発生しました。火はすぐに燃え広がり、数日の間にアンタルヤから付近の別のエリアにも飛び火し、1週間で、32以上の地域で計132もの山火事が起きています。鎮静化した地点と、7日経っても燃え続けているエリアがあります。トルコのエルドアン大統領は7月4日、南部沿岸地域で1週間以上続いている山火事について、同国史上最悪の規模だと述べています。

Astronaut Thomas Pesquet captured from ISS forest fire in Turkey.
In July 2021, over a hundred wildfires began in the Mediterranean Region forests of Turkey, the worst ever in the country’s history. The wildfires started in Manavgat, Antalya, on July 28, with the temperature around 37°C. As of 30 July 2021, a total of 17 provinces, including Muğla, Adana, Osmaniye, Mersin and Kayseri were affected by simultaneous wildfires.
