[:ja]NASAの地球観測衛星Aquaが撮影したカナダ北部、ノースウエスト準州の熱波による山火事の様子です。グレートベア湖周辺で山火事の煙が多数見られます。今月2022年7月、雷、乾燥、熱波などにより、カナダ北部で数百の山火事が発生しています。7月6日時点では、ユーコン準州で136、ノースウエスト準州で65の山火事が報告されています。

[Earthview Wonders] No.1590: Wildfires in Northern Canada🇨🇦

NASA’s Aqua satellite captured the wild fire of the Northwest Territories, Canada. Smokes around the Great Bear Lake can be regocnized from the image. In July 2022, a combination of lightning, dry weather, and unusual heat fueled hundreds of wildland fires in northern Canada. 136 fires were reported to be burning in the Yukon and 65 in the Northwest Territories on July 6.
