[:ja]NASAの地球観測衛星Aquaが撮影したロシア、シベリアの山火事です。サハ共和国のウスチ＝マヤ、ヤクーツク、レナ川付近です。
地球温暖化の影響で、欧米など北半球の広範囲で山火事が広がっています。サハ共和国当局によると、7月18日の時点で51の山火事が発生し、9,737haが消失しました。サハ共和国では、過去2年間は例年以上に、春から夏にかけての山火事の季節が厳しいものになっています。

NASA’s Aqua satellite captured wildfire in Siberia, Russia. The image shows fires around Ust-Maya, Yakutsk and Lena River.
Due to global warming, severe wildfires have occurred in many parts of the northern hemisphere. From the beginning of July, wildland fires have started to burn in Siberia, and several fires had grown much larger and more intense in 2 weeks. Many of the fires were burning in the Ayano-Maysky district of Khabarovsk, which is home to larch forests and the circular Kondyor massif. According to Sakha local government, 51 fires burned across roughly 9,737ha on July 18, 2022. For the past 2 years, Sakha has endured unusually severe fire seasons.
