[:ja]NASAの月探索計画アルテミスの一環で、NASAの月周回衛星オリオンから撮影した地球です。地球軌道から見る地球とは違い、漆黒の宇宙空間の中で孤独な姿に見えます。

アルテミス計画は、米国が主導する有人宇宙飛行（月面着陸）計画です。当初計画では2024年までに「最初の女性を、次の男性を」月面（特に南極付近）に着陸させることを目標としています。

NASA’s Orion spacecraft captured beautiful Earth from a distance.

Earthview looks different from those captured from the Earth orbit. The image seems to emphasize the lonely existence of this planet in the jet-black space. Orion is part of the NASA’s Artemis I Mission, which involves the first integrated flight test of NASA’s Deep Space Exploration Systems: the Orion spacecraft, Space Launch System (SLS) rocket, with the newly upgraded Exploration Ground Systems at Kennedy Space Center.
