Astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi captured from ISS Cyclone #Biparjoy over Arabian Sea.

On June 15, 2023, tropical Cyclone Biparjoy moved northbound and has made landfall in India’s western Gujarat state, close to the Pakistan border, unleashing powerful gusts of wind that ripped up trees and toppled electricity poles. At landfall, Biparjoy was equivalent to a strong tropical storm with winds of 100km/h. According to Indian authorities, early warnings, accurate identification of vulnerable areas and timely evacuations helped India to avert major casualties from cyclone Biparjoy.
