People in Japan and around the world will be stopping to remember one of the darkest days in the country’s history. Aug. 6th, 2025 marks 80 years since an atomic bomb devastated Hiroshima. The annual ceremony was held at the city’s Peace Memorial Park which Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru and representatives from a record 120 countries and regions attended. That includes nuclear powers, such as the United States and the United Kingdom.
