Astronaut Soichi Noguchi captured from ISS Palestine and Israel. On Oct. 7, 2023, the Palestinian militant group Hamas has launched an unprecedented attack on Israel, with its fighters entering communities near the Gaza Strip, killing hundreds of residents and taking dozens of hostages. Israeli air strikes immediately hammered Gaza, razing entire districts and filling morgues with dead Palestinians as Israel took revenge for the Hamas assaults that have triggered some of the worst blood-letting in 75 years of conflict. We only hope for the truce to be realized in the region at the earliest timing.
