Astronaut Don Pettit captured from ISS the New Glenn rocket launch and star trail. The New Glenn rocket launched for the first time on January 16, 2025. The launch took place from Launch Complex 36 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The New Glenn reached orbit on its first attempt. These are a blend of both science and art.
